Parker-Allstar Tourn. 2010

All StarTournament was in Hanceville, AL.
It lasted 6 days with most games at
6:00pm.  Parker played shortstop-and
played it well.  He is 15 years old
and weighs 129lbs., and is a team leader.
We had a great time watching the games and cheering him on.  Oh yeah, it was scorching hot...but we didn't care.

Russ is shown updating our friends on Facebook while watching the game on
the last night.
2nd place in state!Proud mama here.

Radiation Is Over For My Beautiful Mama!

Mama made it!  No more rads and things look great from the dr. checkup.  Yay!  Mom, you're a trooper and such a positive, sunshiney light for me.  I love and admire you more than you'll ever know.

Catching Up

I'm a little late with posting. Baseball has taken over our spare thoughts and time along with very busy schedules at school. But it's springtime and I'm happy! So much has been going on and I'm going to catch up slowly. Evan's only got a couple of weeks left of high school and Parker 9th grade.
Easter Sunday we decided to do something different. We rented a pontoon boat on Lake Martin and spent the day on the water. It was beautiful weather and fun to be with the kids.

The Big Day

Yesterday was our 23rd anniversary!  We had a great day just being home.  Russ prepared a yummy shrimp boil for dinner and we all actually sat at the table and ate together.  These are the times I cherish and will be happy with the rest of my life.  I know there's going to come a day when the boys have their own dinner tables to eat at, but they'll always have this one to come home to.
Pics to come...

Last Weekend of Spring Break

My pride and joys!
Mom's pride and joys too!
Mom and Jim--I love you both!

Spring Break 2010

It came and went in a flash.  We started and ended the week with our boys playing baseball.  It was mostly cool and cloudy except for Fri. and Sat. finally turning sunny and warmer (low 70).  The boys found ways to have fun at home with XBox, playing basketball outside, and riding bicycles (yes, I said riding bicycles! lol Those bicycles had cobwebs!).  This was Evan's last high school spring break.....:(

My beautiful daffodils finally bloomed! Cletis, our newest addition.  He just came up about 2 mo. ago and decided to stay.  He's extremely shy, so we haven't petted him yet. I can tell we're making progress though. He loves Chloe and Peanut and they all play together well. Chloe-Queen of the Pack!
